Vault and Fortress
SourceGear Vault is a cross-platform version control system for small and medium-sized teams.
SourceGear Fortress is a cross-platform Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) solution for small and medium-sized teams. The version control features are based on the mature technology from SourceGear Vault which has been continually improved since its initial release in February 2003.
In this documentation, all references will be to SourceGear Vault, since both products share the same basic technology. If a particular feature is specific to SourceGear Fortress, it will be noted. There will be frequent references to Item Tracking Projects, which are only available in Fortress. These will not be noted.
