Q11751 - INFO: Forward Hach WIMS Messages of Normal Priorty to Cell phone [User Specific Setting]

This User Specific Setting specifies a cell phone email address to forward all Normal priority WIMS messages to

Most of mobile carriers offer free Email To SMS gateways which can be used to forward simple text emails to a mobile phones.  WIMS sends an email to the specified address and your cell phone provider will convert it to a text message (SMS) and forward to your phone.   For example, to send a text message to 555-999-8888 on the AT&T network, enter 5559991234@txt.att.net

Email messages arrive on your cell phone as text messages. Be aware that you may need a special text message plan that costs extra from your cell phone provider and that Hach is not responsible for any charges that may incur.

E.g., to send an email as a text to a cell phone with phone number 555-999-8888 on the AT&T network, you would enter 5559998888@txt.att.net. Assuming your subject line is "New WIMS Message" with content "Situation under control", you will receive a text message that looks like this (example uses Apple iPhone, your screen may look different):
