Note : This known issue affects Hach WIMS v7.1.2 and earlier.  It is fixed in version 7.1.3 and later.

There is a known issue in the Hach WIMS v7.1.2 client that causes blank dates to populate in spread sheet on Receive Sample form in LABCAL, upon clicking on the Set To Scheduled Date button.
This only occurs if Region Settings specify the Short Date Separator to be -
This does not occur when normal default US cultural settings are used (Short Date Separator is /)

 

Symptoms & Cause:

This behavior is caused by a bug in WIMS code, which caused the program to improperly detect the separator character from Windows settings.

Workaround:

To workaround this bug, download a hot-fix build of the 7.1.2 client executable (posted below in the article attachments section).
Once downloaded, the executable inside of the zip file should be used to manually overwrite your existing Hach_WIMS_Client.exe.
WARNING : This workaround hotfix can only be used to overwrite Hach_WIMS_Client.exe v7.1.2, build 4709.
No other version is compatible with this hotfix.
