Q11681 - INFO: Entry Form Group Access Permissions

Used to set permissions (i.e. which users can use/design forms in the group) for entry groups.          

BUTTONS:

Used with the Apply To field to set all users of a certain type (i.e. Managers, Users, etc..) to Use only.  This means they can use the form to enter/review data but cannot design the form.

Used with the Apply To field to set all users of a certain type (i.e. Managers, Users, etc..) to Use and Design.  This means they can use the form to enter/review data and design the form.

Used with the Apply To field to set all users of a certain type (i.e. Managers, Users, etc..) to have no access to the forms at all.  The users will not even see the group Select Entry form to Open in This means they can use the

Save changes and close the form.

Closes the form without saving any changes.

FIELDS:

Name: Name of the group.

Group Owner: User that created the group and ALWAYS has Use/Design privileges.

Access Permissions:  Lists all users (other than Super and Read-Only users) and allows you to set privileges (use and/or design) by checking the Use/Design options for each user.  NOTE:  Use the Apply To and All buttons to set privileges for a type of user.
