The WIMS Location table tracks the Location Levels/Path within the table so users do not need to use recursive queries when accessing the table directly. When the location table is updated thru Location Setup in WIMS these fields are automatically updated. However, the Levels can be out of sync if Var Admin Tool creates new Locations, SQL Console is used to update the table, etc...
This setting when on, automatically updates the Location table when the first user logs into the Facility Database each day.
1. Go to System Setup, System Tables, This Facility, Facility Setup
2. Click on the Settings Tab
3. Set the "Refresh Location Path on Login" date by checking the box and setting to a date in the past. Note: This date will be updated to the last time the sync was performed. Uncheck the box to disable the update on login.
Tech Notes:
To retrieve setting from database: select * from SETTINGS where SETTING='REFRESHLOCS' - NULL or no record indicates setting is off.
Updates the following fields in the Location Table:
- PATH
- LVL1_ID thru LVL8_ID
