Q12362 - INFO: Supported Variable Configuration for Interface Q12351

Supported variable configurations for the Hach WIMS Direct Server-Side Interface to Generic LIMS CSV Files.

To configure a variable to hold values from a LIMS, select Edit/View Variables in the client and select the Interface tab.

Then click Interface To radio button. The drop down box next to the option is now enabled, click the drop down arrow and choose the Generic LIMS interface name (name given when configuring the interface).

Variables can be cross referenced using Location and Analyte or using Location, Analyte, and LIMS UD1.  In source configuration, if you mapped the LIMS UD1 field YOU MUST enter a value for LIMS UD1.  If you did not map LIMS UD1, the LIMS UD1 setting here will be ignored.

Example 1:  Cross reference your influent BOD variable with LIMS UD1 off (not mapped).

Example 2:  Cross reference your influent BOD variable with LIMS UD1 on.  We have a field in our source CSV file that specifies Routine or Non-Routine.  You only want the Routine results to be imported to this variable:
