Steps to Insert a Column:

1. Highlight Cells in the columns you want to insert into:
   

   

2. Click Edit, Insert Column on the menu:
   
   
3. Columns are inserted:
   

NOTES:

Formulas will be updated accordingly.  For example, formulas that referred to B before we inserted will now refer to D.
