Q10206 - HOWTO: Adding user defined fields to the Sample Reference Library

I Added fields to the Sample Reference Library and I want the ability to replicate them and to add them to Samples at Login.

Replicating Sample Reference Library fields:

You will need to modify the following queies.  The first query envolves the fields for the Sample Reference. The second query is for replicating fields you may have added to the Test Groups associated with the Sample Reference.  The third query is for replicating fields you may have added to the Tests associated with the Sample Reference.  Add your new fields from the SampleRefLib table, Sample_Reference_Testgroups table or Sample_Reference_Tests table to the query grid.

  • Replicate SamRef Selection
  • Replicate SamRef TestGroups
  • Replicate SamRef Tests

Getting Sample Reference fields to show up at Login:

You will need to modify the following queries.  Add your new fields from the Sample Reference or Sample Reference TestGroups or Sample Reference Tests Tables to the query grid.  The first two queries are evoked when you click Add button after selecting a SampleReference from the Reference Libray combo box.  The last 6 queries are only evoked when a Reference ID is used at Login.

  • Login Samp Ref Test Groups
  • Login Samp Ref Tests
  • Login SampleRefID
  • Get Sample Ref Groups
  • Auto Login Sample Reference Groups
  • Auto Login Sample Reference Tests
  • rep to testgroups2
  • rep to tests2
