FIELD ADDED

DEFAULT VALUE

TESTING VALUES

VALUEFIELD

:Interpolated

DATAPOINTSPERSECOND

:60

DATEFORMAT

yyyy-mm-dd hh:nn:ss

mm/dd/yyyy hh:nn:ss

DATEDELIMITER

'

#

All fields are shown in Source Configuration on the Advanced Options tab and are optional. To eliminate a field, delete all text from field. The Default Value for DATEDELIMITER is a single quote mark. Testing Values are setup values for a MS Access database using a DSN connection.

  • DATAPOINTSPERSECOND - this is the frequency of data points and can be set overall in the interfaces Source Configuration > Advanced Options tab. A variable can override this setting by simply adding the colon and value to the TAG name field in Hach WIMS Client under System Setup > Edit/View Variables on the Interface tab as shown:

This example shows our TAG value as AI001:60 and means we want a data point from the AI001 table every 60 seconds. If we wanted one data point per hour (60 seconds X 60 minutes), we could ask for 3600 by entering AI001:3600. The interface might have a default of :60 but the :3600 will override that value. One thing that will cause problems is if the tag name contains a colon other than the one specifying the data point frequency.

  • In Source Configuration, the fields mentioned above will be loaded and saved to the XML file. This is so the first time this new version is installed, it will initially put the default values in the XML file.
  • Removed the field to enter the Database Name that requested a file location of a database, this is part of the DSN connection.
