The RSView interface needs MSXBSE35.DLL as an indirect reference library. MSXBSE35.DLL is a Microsoft Jet xBase Isam Driver and is a part of DAO 3.51. It will also work on DAO 3.6.
You can download MSXBSE35.DLL here
Put MSXBSE35.DLL anywhere in your filesystem (c:\ops32 for example) and run regsvr32 on it. For instance, run regsvr32 c:\ops32\MSXBSE35.DLL
If you get the following message :
... it means that you do not have DAO 3.5/3.6 installed (or it may have been installed improperly).
RESOLUTION :
- Download the DAO 3.6 Redistributable here
- Run the redistributable. It will show the following screen :
- You should see the following confirmation:
- Run the following command :
regsvr32 c:\ops32\MSXBSE35.DLL
- You should see the following confirmation:
